SILVER BARS - Side-Impact Bars for Triumphs

Wouldn't it be good if someone made retro-fit side-impact bars to fit the Stag, Spitfire and TR6?
They could be made of 2 decent gauge box section steel tubes welded together for strength...
have spreader-plates each end that double as templates for accurate location... would be optimally
positioned... they could be fitted during re-skinning... and of course they wouldn't interfere with normal door function.
A good idea I reckon. Why not invest in some. They could save you life.
